This charming
detached villa is located in the rural village of Sesmarias and is
approximately one mile from the well known resort of Carvoeiro and the
town of Lagoa. The centre of Sesmarias is a short walk where there is
a mini market, several cafes, bars and shops.
The road from the local airport Faro, is now motorway to just north of
Lagoa and is 40 to 50 minutes drive away. Also in the village is the
golf resort of Pestana with the Gramacho and Pinta golf courses and a
tennis club which is open to visitors. There are two water theme parks
and riding stables which are a short drive towards Faro. To the west
of the villa on the road to the fishing village of Farragudo is the
Caneiros beach and the popular fish restaurant Rei Das Praias. To the
north of Lagoa lies the historical town of Silves which was the
capital of the Algarve and is well worth a visit. Open markets are
held on different days in local towns. Further to the west over the
old bridge is the town of Portimao and the ultra modern resort of Pria
De Rocha.
Accommodation:
The villa has three bedrooms one which is en suite. All bedrooms have
built in wardrobes. Two of the bedrooms have single beds and one has a
double bed. The lounge has a wood burner and is equipped with a
satellite T.V. CD player/radio. The dining area seats 6/8 people. The
kitchen is fitted with a gas/electric cooker, fridge/freezer,
microwave and washing machine. There are Patio doors from the lounge
area opening onto a terrace on one side and onto the barbeque eating
area on the other side. Steps lead up to the roof top patio from where
there are sea views. Finally we have a local manager to deal with all
inquiries and advice and a maid service and pool attendant twice a
week.
