Tir Na Hilan cottages,
situated on a mountainside location, and only 4km from
Castletownbere. In the far southwest corner of county Cork,
Castletownbere has a large fishing fleet, fish auction hall, sea
food restaurants, heritage centre, health and fitness club,
supermarkets and gift shops. It is a wonderful place to sample the
delights of the southern Ireland coast and to tour the area.
Both cottages are on an organic farm with sheep and ponies. It is
situated on the Beara Way Walking and Cycling route for the
energetic holidaymaker, and nearby you can take coastal boat trips,
fish at sea and 23 shore angling sites, play on a 9 hole golf course
or visit a meditation centre. There is also a sailing school, bird watching,
pony trekking and archaeological sites within easy reach.
The Cottages: You will
wake to the smell of the sea, and retire to the smell of the open
turf fire if it is chilly.
Both Cottages have 3 bedrooms with Orthopaedic beds, electric
heaters and radiators. The living rooms have pine floors, colour TV
and radio, plus comfortable furniture to make your holiday
enjoyable. The kitchens are fully equipped and have microwave ovens
plus there is a washing machine and dryer. There is a bathroom and a
separate WC. Full central heating for those early and late holidays.
The owners will collect you
from the ports and give you personal attention daily if you
wish.
