The Killaloe /
Ballina area has much to offer visitors of all ages. Whether
it's jet-skiing, fishing or boating on the lake, horse riding,
cycling or walking in the hills and forests. There is also a local
leisure centre, cruiser hire, and swimming pool within the town, not
to mention lively pubs many with music.
Killaloe and Ballina are well known nationally for the standard of
the food served in the local restaurants, bars and hotels. Being on
the shore of a lake, fish is a local specialty but there is a great
selection of foreign and traditional Irish food on the local menus.
Boat hire is available from the bridge car park during the summer
months. There is also a leisure cruise of the lake run from the
Ballina shore.
The Killaloe Music Festival
is held
during the summer months, this relatively new festival has grown in
leaps and bounds and is now well known in the Irish classical music
world. There are many pubs in the town which have live music on
offer, and the usual nights for this would be Friday, Saturday and
Sunday, but during the summer you will find music on week nights
too. Reddan's Bar, Walsh's and Tom's would be your first stop if you
are in search of music.
Lakeside
Hotel has a wonderful leisure centre available with swimming pool,
sauna & Jacuzzi.
Sheena is situated on the main street
of Killaloe, a picturesque town steeped in history on the shores
of lough Derg.
This charming, refurbished
town house has a courtyard and secluded garden. The area is just
idyllic, a paradise for the sports enthusiast with water sports,
fishing, horse riding and golf all available locally.

room, kitchen and utility room. In
the kitchen there is a gas cooker, dishwasher, and microwave oven,
fridge freezer. In the utility
room there is a washing machine and tumble dryer

Two bedrooms, both are en-suite.
A nice patio area with garden furniture including patio table and
chairs and sun loungers. There is
a little court yard leading to a small garden.
