The
five 2 storey cottages have been sympathetically restored this
year to offer high quality, 5 star accommodation. The use of
traditional materials coupled with clever design has captured the true
atmosphere of a rural, country cottage. The proprietors aim to offer
you a real home from home, and you can tailor make your holiday if
you wish, you can even take your horse, dog or cat!
All of the
cottages have individual patio areas with furniture and gas BBQs,
digital satellite TV, video, portable phones, dishwashers and
microwaves. There is a fully equipped laundry room and a games room
complete with kitchen, where you can smoke, read, play games or
simply relax.
Barley
Cottage: is a quaint country cottage, with 2 bedrooms, bathroom,
and sleeping 5 people, affording lots of rustic charm with
handcrafted natural wood furniture and kitchen. There is a wood burning
stove for an extra extra cosy feel, though there is central heating
throughout. The spacious bathroom has a bath with shower.
Brooks
Cottage: Being the largest with bathroom, 2 bedrooms and
sleeping 6 people, it comprises a spacious lounge with wood burning
stove, flagged floor and pine furniture. The kitchen / dining area
is crafted in reclaimed pine, and opens out on to the paved patio
area overlooking the garden. The spacious bathroom has a bath with
shower.
Clover
Cottage: is a perfect hideaway for 4 people, and has 2 bedrooms
and a bathroom with bath and shower. Having exposed original beams
upstairs and a large arched window in the lounge, the cottage
reflects the old structure of the house, offering quaint and
comfortable accommodation.
Corn Cottage:
sleeps 5 in 2 bedrooms, and combines the rustic feel of the
farmhouse with the comfort afforded by deluxe furnishings. The open
plan living / dining room has hand crafted kitchen and furniture,
stone floor and wood burning stove. There is a door to raised
terrace for outside dining. The spacious bathroom has a bath with
shower.
Flax
Cottage:set in
a courtyard, with 2 bedrooms and sleeping 3 people, with a bathroom
with bath and shower. Once again, natural wood is blended with
luxurious furnishings in the open plan kitchen / living area with
wood burning stove, giving a comfortable lived in feel.
The Games
Room: appealing to all age groups with pool, table tennis, air
hockey and a variety of board games. It has a fitted kitchen, making
it a perfect place for conferences, or for general "get
togethers".
