These two holes have been described by Sports Illustrated as the first and fourth "Toughest Holes on the 1998 PGA Tour". The world famous eighth has been called by Jack Nicklaus "the most dramatic second shot in golf". At every angle there are views which give new meaning to the term "breathtaking". Located just a few minutes from the Lodge at Pebble Beach, the Beach and Tennis Club, and the quaint village of  Carmel-by-the-Sea. The property is just a few minutes drive from Monterey Peninsular airport. Should you be tempted to leave the property, there is a multitude of things to see and do in the area, including, of course, a plentiful supply of other golf courses!

The House: has a configuration up to five bedrooms with abundant walk-in closets, six baths and a sauna. There is a master bedroom with large dressing room, two guest rooms and baths separate from main house, and a large party room which can also be used as a bedroom. There is also a third guest quarters on the property also for rent.

There is a formal dining room and large living room, a fully fitted kitchen with breakfast nook, two wet bars with ice makers and an indoor BBQ. Should you need them, there are also four fireplaces! Outside the property offers an enclosed sun porch and large exterior patio, guest parking for about 20 cars, and a car port that will house two vehicles.
